Cookie Policy

This document is provided in English. The English version is the binding version.

This Cookie Policy explains how Entheos Tech Ltd (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in the Ulvi application (together, the “Services”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally.

We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17061994, with our registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies, including local storage and session storage, which store information in your browser in a comparable way. In this policy we refer to all of these as “cookies” unless we say otherwise.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”) and the UK GDPR, local storage and session storage are treated in the same way as cookies. For that reason we list them alongside cookies below, so that this policy gives you a complete picture.

How we ask for your consent

When you first visit our website, we show you a cookie consent banner. Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Services to work are set automatically and do not require your consent. All other cookies, including analytics and marketing cookies, are only set after you have accepted them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings on our website.

Analytics before consent

We use PostHog to understand, in an anonymous way, how our website is used. Before you give consent, PostHog runs in a cookieless mode: we do not write any cookie or other identifier to your device, and we do not build a persistent identity for you. In this mode we still receive some anonymous information, such as page views, but it is not stored on your device and cannot be used to identify you. A persistent analytics cookie is only created once you accept cookies.

Location information

Some of our providers derive an approximate location (such as country, region or city) from your IP address, through Cloudflare and PostHog. This is used for language routing, security and anonymous analytics. We do not use precise or GPS-based location. Approximate, IP-based location may be processed for anonymous analytics even before you accept cookies, without any cookie being stored on your device.

Cookies we may use in the future

As our Services develop, we may introduce the additional analytics and marketing tools below. These are not currently in use. If and when we introduce them, they will only be deployed after you have given consent through our cookie banner, and we will update this policy accordingly. Where a tool involves a transfer of data outside the UK or EEA (for example the Meta Pixel), we will put appropriate safeguards in place as described in our Privacy Policy.

Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Services to function or to keep them secure, including remembering your language and consent choice, protecting against bots, and carrying your quiz answers into sign-up. These do not require consent.
  • Analytics. Help us understand how the Services are used so we can improve them (for example PostHog, and Google Analytics in future). These require your consent.
  • Marketing. Help us measure and improve our marketing and attribute sign-ups to campaigns (for example the Meta Pixel in future, and our attribution storage). These require your consent.

Managing your cookies

You can manage non-essential cookies at any time through the cookie settings on our website. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting or blocking them, although some parts of the Services may not function properly if you block strictly necessary cookies. For more information about cookies and how to manage them, you can visit www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services.
